    Americans remain divided in their choice to get vaccinated against COVID-19, with discussion of vaccine mandates from private companies prompting Republican State legislatures to create bills that would give unvaccinated people the same civil liberties as those pertaining to race, gender and religion. This comes as the Taliban continues to seize more territory throughout the region.     President Biden met with U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland and local leaders and law enforcement at the White House on Monday to discuss the rising crime rate and how to combat it.
