  • 8: Episode 8: Self-Government - Taking Up Our Responsibility
Can We Govern Ourselves? (Part 2). This question has been asked over and over again throughout history. The Founding Fathers of the United States had a very simple answer: YES! That is, yes, in so much as we submit to God and His ways. Join us in this second episode on self-government as we explore the fundamental fact, that people will only be as free as they are willing to submit to God. As I hope you’ll see, everyday people like you and me can govern ourselves by the grace and help of God!

Joining me today is my good friend Camden (Cam) Clark. Cam has an undergraduate degree in History and he is currently working towards his Masters in History at the University of North Georgia. He is an avid lover of all things Biblical, historical, and philosophical. Cam is married to his wife Maura and they are the proud parents of their new son Eamon.

  • 4: The Gospel: What it Does
In today's episode, Andrew and I are back again talking about the Gospel (part 2). We discuss the implications of the Gospel and how it applies to us. The Gospel (good news) saves us, shows us the love of God, and brings great joy (among many other things it does).

Andrew Wilson is a husband, father, pastor, and coffee entrepreneur. After earning a Youth Ministry degree from Liberty University, he was a Pastor of Family Ministries in coastal Virginia for 3 years. In the middle of the COVID era chaos, he moved to Georgia to open up a coffee shop aimed at serving people with good coffee and good company. He also helps pastor a church in the same town. He loves the Georgia Bulldogs, the Atlanta Braves, the Jacksonville Jaguars, a good cup of coffee and a nice glass of wine.

Andrew’s Top Three Book Recommendations in no particular order
    1. The Gospel Focus of Charles Spurgeon by Steven J. Lawson
    2. A Non-Anxious Presence by Mark Sayers
    3. Gospel Centered Discipleship by Jonathan K. Dodson

  • 1: What is Liberty?
In this first episode on Liberty (part 1), Cam and I discuss the history of the concept of liberty. We explore the various definitions of liberty from the ancient to modern day and why many of these definitions don't cut it. Many today consider liberty to mean unlimited freedom, but as we show, unlimited liberty always ends in chaos. We then discuss a working definition of liberty that we believe captures a much fuller and better view of the blessing of liberty.
