She spoke up for children in darkness—and paid the price.
What the world called a jail cell, God called an assignment.

Gabriela is a young single mom who refused to stay silent while children were mistreated at a behavioral health facility. Speaking truth cost her everything: her job, her stability, and even her freedom. Arrested in the very place she worked, Gabriela spent three days in jail—three days where God met her face-to-face.

Behind bars, she discovered her true assignment.
 In the isolation, God became visible, intentional, and present.
 What felt like loss became the beginning of her testimony.

Today, Gabriela is baptized, walking boldly with Christ, and working in a healthier environment. Though she lost everything, she gained the revelation that every season is temporary, every placement is an assignment, and even her trials are vessels to test obedience in others.
