Most of us were taught that "real" freedom means never having to work on holiday. That if you're doing it right, you can shut the laptop, switch off completely, and walk away.
But here's the thing: when I finally allowed myself to choose to work on holiday, I unlocked a level of freedom I hadn't felt before.
Not because I want to hustle 24/7. Not because I can't switch off. But because I stopped holding myself to someone else's definition of freedom.
In this episode of Life by Design, I'm sharing the mindset shift no one else is really talking about—the one that has allowed me to:
Travel more often without feeling guilty or behind.
Keep my income consistent, even when I'm away.
Serve my clients at a high level while still enjoying my life.
This isn't about overworking. It's about clarity and choice. It's about building a business that feels sustainable, not just on paper but in your actual day-to-day life.
If you've ever found yourself wondering:
"Am I allowed to work on holiday if I actually enjoy it?"
"How do I keep momentum without burning out?"
"What does freedom really look like for me?"
…then this episode is for you.
I'm pulling back the curtain on what freedom means to me, how I've redefined it on my terms, and why letting go of the traditional "never work on holiday" rule has made me more present, more relaxed, and more at peace in both business and life.
Whether you're fully booked or still building, my hope is this episode gives you permission to question the old rules and decide what freedom really looks like for you.
