If our elected government officials and the members of permanent Washington would come out and admit their misdeeds it would be great for the country. The media is trying to spin DOGE into some arm of government corruption that is hell bent on upending the good and virtuos aspects of our government; in reality they are doing the exact opposite. With no power to do anything beyond auditing the federal government and giving recommendations as to what should be cut, there is practically zero danger of Musk and the DOGE dudes running away with power. 
Brett and Pete also discuss former Vice-Presidential candidate Tim Walz's latest campaign for office. Pete fully supports his efforts and wishes him all the best! The duo also floats the idea of deputizing citizens to go after illegal immigrants, Brett quickly shoots this idea down despite Pete's fervent support.
