This week, we're continuing our look at concept albums. Part two takes us through the 1970s.

I hope they do a second part on yacht rock; I was disappointed to only find the first part!

Your intrepid host went to a concert on Friday, was felled by a migraine on Saturday, and encountered technical issues on Sunday, but managed to get it together on Monday. Work is gearing up to the busy season, and so I did something different; it's a bit of an ASCII shrug, but more of a DJ set this time. Hope you enjoy it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

• Cannons - Bad Dream

First of all, I'm very sorry for the delayed upload. The last few days, I was knocked flat by a headache. I also ended up rejigging some of the material; if you listened to the live broadcast, you'll notice that not only did I add a few songs, I removed a few too. And even at that, this sucker runs over two hours. 

It's a rather grim episode, inspired by the tragedy of Astroworld earlier this month. I found myself down a pretty bleak rabbit hole, and ended up assembling a list of disasters that have happened at live music events. There are no doubt more, but these are some notable ones from the last century.

This week, in honour of Palestine's Independence Day on November 15th, we're taking a listen to some modern Palestinian music, as well as some music by pro-Palestinian allies. From the river to the sea, we stand in solidarity.

This week, we wrap up our look at the life and work of Leonard Cohen, who passed away five years ago this Sunday. No covers this time, just the man himself.
