We welcome back to the program Dr. Mike Stallard, International Ministries Director here at The Friends of Israel. We’re continuing our series on Replacement Theology. There’s a divide in the Christian world when it comes to Israel and we are peeling back the layers and taking a look. This week we’ll focus on how different theologies of thought interpret the Scriptures. It’s all about where you start! Then we’ll hear Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading from Holocaust survivor Zvi Kalisher.

Have you ever wondered why one pastor will talk about a literal future for the Jewish people and another never mentions it? There’s differences in the Christian world when it comes to Israel and we are peeling back the layers and taking a look at what the term “Replacement Theology” means and learning when this type of thinking began. Then Chris will explain how the idea of Israel having a future home and hope was never popular in church history but was always present. We’ll end our program with Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading from Holocaust survivor Zvi Kalisher.

If you need a good picture of pride and its destruction, simply go to the Bible! It’s full of stories and examples of people and nations being destroyed because of this sin. This week we’re studying Daniel 5 where we’ll see King Belshazzar, who defies God’s commandments, receives a message from God. And in Daniel 11, Chris will talk about pride in the prophecy of Antiochus Epiphanes and the Antichrist. We’ll end our program with Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading from Holocaust survivor, Zvi Kalisher.

“If only we had died in the land of Egypt!” The Israelites cried when the 12 spies reported back to Moses about the giant obstacles in the land promised to them. This week we focus on our current issue of Israel My Glory magazine, Out of Egypt. Chris will sit down with Ty Perry, the author of the article “Fiasco at Kadesh Barnea.” Then we’ll learn about the Levite tribe. Chris will explain their unique calling by God and how it shows God’s holiness and His heart. Don’t miss it!

Come with us to the land of the Bible! We’ll land in the ancient port city of Joppa. Chris will take us to both the Old and New Testament where from this small town God told Jonah and the Apostle Peter to go and proclaim His Truth to an undeserving people - Gentiles! It’s interesting to see the similarities and contrasts of the two stories. We’ll finish the program with a dramatic reading from Holocaust survivor and Friends of Israel worker Zvi Kalisher in Apples of Gold.

The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry Bible teachers deliver compelling, in-depth messages from the book of Daniel as we study how a servant of the Lord can still love righteously in a wicked world.
