We’re starting a new series this week on the parables of Jesus. Chris takes us to Matthew 13 where Jesus tells the parable of the mustard seed. Learn why this radical picture of the Kingdom of heaven being like a tiny mustard seed probably shocked Jesus’ followers. Then Chris will answer the question, “Why did Jesus teach in parables?” We’ll end the program with Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading from the life of Holocaust survivor Zvi Kalisher.

How do you get younger generations to become friends of Israel? Take them to Israel! This is why The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry has programs like Oʀɪɢɪɴꜱ, our volunteer trip to Israel for those ages 18-28 years old. We welcome Bruce Scott, our Program Ministries Director of the Oʀɪɢɪɴꜱ program. Bruce will share about this unique and impactful trip.

We’ll then hear from one of our volunteers and recent winner of our GO ISRAEL Essay contest, Ben Vasquez. Take heart! God is doing mighty things in our young adults.

Why do you support Israel? Are you able to clearly state your reasons? We welcome Dr. Thomas Ice to the program this week. Dr. Ice has a new book available, The Case for Zionism, which gives clear and concise answers to why Christians should support Israel. We'll also hear Dr. Ice's thoughts about the celebration of Israel's Independence Day. Finally, we'll finish out with Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading from the life and ministry of holocaust survivor, Zvi Kalisher.

Yom HaShoah, Israel's Holocaust Memorial Day is this week. The day of remembrance became an official Israeli holiday in 1953. Every year fewer and fewer holocaust survivors are still with us here on earth. Chris shares one of their dramatic stories. Then he'll answer the difficult question, "Why did God allow the Holocaust to happen?" We'll end our program with Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading from the life and ministry of holocaust survivor, Zvi Kalisher.

We serve a risen Savior! Happy Resurrection Week! Chris takes us to the Messianic Psalm, Psalm 22 written 1,000 years before Jesus walked the earth. Sometimes without meaning to, we pass over Jesus' humanity and His suffering on the cross. Psalm 22 takes us into the mind of Jesus during those moments. Chris will then answer the question, "Was Jesus in the ground for a full three days?" And finally, we’ll hear a dramatic reading from the life and ministry of holocaust survivor, Zvi Kalisher in Apples of Gold.

This week Jewish people all over the world will be observing Passover. Chris takes us to the Exodus story where the ten plagues are poured out on the Egyptian people because of Pharaoh's hard heart. And just as God saved the children of Israel from the bonage of slavery in Egypt, He has made a way for all the world to be saved from our bondage from sin, through Jesus our Passover Lamb. We’ll end our program with a dramatic reading from the life of holocaust survivor Zvi Kalisher in Apples of Gold.

As Christians, most of us fit into three categories when it comes to thinking about the Kingdom of God: Some believe it’s here now, some believe it’s a literal Kingdom that is coming, and some really don’t think about it at all. We’re going in-depth this week, looking at our most recent issue of Israel My Glory magazine, “Thy Kingdom Come.” We also welcome Tom Simcox to the program who clears up some misconceptions of the Millennial Kingdom. For many, we believe this will change your thinking about God and His Kingdom!

Have you ever felt a stirring in your spirit? Chris takes us to the book of Ezra this week where we learn how God stirred in the spirit of King Cyrus in order to accomplish His will and how this is something God still does today. Then Chris talks to Eli Burman from the organization One Israel Fund. Hear how this unique organization is helping the people of Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley. Finally Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading of the life and ministry of Holocaust survivor Zvi Kalisher.

We're excited to have Timothy Rabinek on the program. Timothy is one of our Eastern European workers at The Friends of Israel. Hear what God is doing through Timothy and his team in parts of Eastern Europe. Learn how you can pray and help reach those in need. Then Chris will tell us about a law in Russia affecting evangelical Christians, including some of our workers in that area. We'll end our program with Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading of the life of Holocaust survivor Zvi Kalisher.

Right now Jewish people all over the world are celebrating the most joyous of all holidays, Purim. It's a time to remember how God, through Esther, saved the Jewish people from total annihilation. Chris will share that when life is not going as you planned, the question needs to be ask, What if like Esther, God has positioned you for such a time as this? You won’t want to miss this encouraging message! We'll end our program with Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading from the ministry of Holocaust survivor Zvi Kalisher.
