The season 1 finale is finally here!! After this re-watch we have all the feels for what season 2 is about to bring. Of course, we've got some serious questions and concerns to discuss first. Is it really a barbecue when you don't serve barbecue? Was Phoebe in charge of the birthday decorations? How emergent is this "whole big bone thing", really?

It's Rachel's birthday but Ross has to miss it for an unexpected business trip to China. When Rachel opens Ross' very thoughtful gift Chandler lets it slip that Ross loves her so now she has to grapple with this new information. Joey has a new girlfriend but his participation in a fertility study is keeping him from being able to seal the deal so he figures out exactly how he can be there for her and still get his $700. Rachel decides to take a shot with Ross but he's about to get off the plane with another woman!

A redeeming re-watch! The friends are all at the hospital awaiting Ben's arrival which leads to a few burning questions. Erica and Aubrie discuss the reality of "first baby syndrome" that seems to permeate this whole friend group. And, apparently, the Knicks play in the middle of the night! Also, who on the set design team dropped the ball on spelling it "nusery"?

Carol is finally in labor and the whole friend crew is at the hospital in anticipation. Ross & Susan do nothing but fight for first position and end up locked in the janitor's closet with Phoebe. Rachel, naturally, is flirting with the cute doctor. Monica has some extreme baby fever and Chandler is trying to help her through it (um, hello Mondler!!). Joey befriends another woman in labor and becomes her labor coach.

Ross has a new beeper so Carol can contact him when she goes into labor but he spends most of his time dodging mistaken pages for a male escort service. Rachel is having sex dreams about Chandler, then Joey but not Ross. Phoebe needs some temporary side work so Chandler hires her as his temp secretary and she gives him all the inside scoop about what his employees really think about him. Monica is dating a younger guy who ends up being even younger than he originally said.

Wanna watch an episode where two terrible people prove they're perfect for each other? Then watch this episode with Barry and Mindy. We get caught up discussing all the unanswerable questions like is "calling information" still a thing? Why do the friends NEVER take their shoes off? And where can we find a box of this magically appearing dental floss?

Rachel decides to end things with Barry but ends up having sex with him instead. Mindy asks to meet with Rachel. Rachel is nervous she's caught but, as it turns out, Mindy just wants to ask her to be her maid of honor. Ultimately, confessions abound, and both ladies decide to end things with Barry but only one of them is successful. Chandler had a great first date with Danielle but his anxiety over arranging a second date gets the best of him. Oh and there's a creep with a telescope peeping in on the friends from across the street.

Erica's nostalgia comes out full force in this re-watch. We discuss all of the unanswerable questions like what is with the weird dispersion of apartment numbers in this building? Does anyone need any further proof that Barry and Mindy are literally the worst? And why Rachel's schoolgirl outfit, while legendary, is completely impractical. Oh and, don't forget, Marla Hooch for life!

Rachel finds out that her ex-fiance, Barry, is engaged to her ex-best friend, Mindy. Rachel is babysitting Marcel for the day and things take a turn when he goes missing. Ross has plans to finally ask Rachel out but the search for Marcel takes precedence. All six friends are on the hunt, animal control shows up....it's a whole thing. Once Marcel is home safe and sound, Ross' attempt to ask Rachel out is interrupted by....Barry?

Have you ever seen so much poker played in 22 minutes of television? TOW All the Poker is exactly that...all. the. poker. In this re-watch we discuss the important things like what exactly was Monica pulling from the microwave? And why Aunt Iris is the absolute best! And Erica & Aubrie get into an intense debate over whether or not Ross had the winning hand at the end. Either way, Ross loves Rachel and there's no two ways about it.

The guys reluctantly agree to let the girls in on their poker game. The girls seek some training from Monica's card shark relative, Aunt Iris. Rachel lands an interview at Saks Fifth Avenue but when she nails the interview but still doesn't get the job she takes out her frustration and disappointment on Ross by raising the stakes in the poker game. Is Ross bluffing or did he have the winning hand?

Wrapping up this 2 part re-watch with the better of the two episodes...in our humble opinion. We discuss our burning questions such as what's with the ER crossover and changing the doctor's names? Did the Joey & Phoebe kiss give anybody else some confusing vibes? Just Erica? Ok. We also briefly chase a squirrel named Jennifer Lopez.

Rachel ends up in the emergency room where she convinces Monica to let her use her insurance. But, it's ok because they meet some cute doctors while they're there. Keeping up the ruse proves too difficult on their double date. Ross is doubting his ability to be a good father. Ursula is blowing Joey off so Phoebe takes the situation into her own hands.

Time for another re-watch. We discuss this episode with a groundbreaking title! I mean, whoever titled it really should get a big raise. Aubrie and Erica disagree on whether or not Nina is actually cute. We meet Phoebe's twin sister Ursula and enjoy a fun Mad About You crossover with a cameo by Helen Hunt. Were you really able to switch the audio on your TV to Spanish? And, Ross attending a lamaze class with his ex-wife and her lesbian lover. Does it get any better than that?

Joey meets Phoebe's twin sister, Ursula, and gets Phoebe's permission to ask her out. Phoebe quickly has second thoughts, though. Chandler has to fire an attractive co-worker but ends up asking her out instead. And, it's time for Ross, Carol and Susan to take a lamaze class...he's fine, everything's fine.
