In anticipation of Holy Week, we revisit Jesus' ride into Jerusalem. (Imaginative Prayer only)

The disciples have been sleeping. You've been drowsy yourself. But now you see soldiers coming through the trees. Pray with Jesus as Judas arrives.

It's a famous story, Jesus in agony in Gethsemane, but have you ever wondered how we know it? Some thoughts here, as well as an invitation to pray with the story.

Jesus asks two disciples to prepare for the Passover meal. We've seen this before from Jesus. Why the similar story? Mark has his reasons. Come pray the story!

A woman enters the room where Jesus is eating. The room goes quiet as the fragrance fills the air. Sit at the table and pray this story with us.

Jesus gives his last bit of teaching to his friends. It is sober, but there is something there to listen to for us as well. 

Jesus is done wrangling with the teachers of the law but warns the people to be wary of them. he then sees a woman who exemplifies everything the teachers are not. Come pray the story.

The temple has been cleansed and Jesus returns to teach but is accosted for one final time by his adversaries. Come pray the story! 

Having entered Jerusalem with fanfare, Jesus now approaches the Temple. He does not like what he sees, either on the way or in the Temple Courts. Come pray with the story.
