This week on the podcast, we decided to pull an instant Christmas classic out of the Body Bag, Santa Jaws form 2018 by the incredible Misty Talley! If you ask yourself, "What takes place in a film titled 'Santa Jaws'," then definitely consider checking out this episode and most definitely give the movie itself a watch! Oh, and are you grossed out by eggnog as much as Jensen is? Cause he wants to throw up just typing this.
This week on the podcast, we decided to pull an absolute underrated classic out of the bodybag, Carnival of Souls from 1962 by One-time director Herk Harvey. What exactly does this film represent? What analogies lie within the ghouls of this film? Well we make a feeble attempt to unpack it as best we can.
This week on the podcast, we decided to pull one of Courtney's favorites (maybe?) out of the bodybag, The Devil's Rejects from 2005 directed by Rob Zombie. Have we talked about the first of the third in this trilogy, House of 1000 Corpses? No. But the Firefly family can sit still!
This week on the podcast, we decided to talk about the hottest topic in horror right now, Halloween Kills! Well...talk about it is a statement to make. Jensen rips it apart honestly. And he explains to you why it was such a horrendous film to him while Courtney revels in her glorious higher opinion of the flick.
Will we be watching this film anytime soon again? Fuck to the no.
Welcome to all of our favorite month, October, Spooky Season, the time that we all can be ourselves without looking like weirdos. Well with this being our SECOND Halloween that we've been able to celebrate with all of you here at The Fright Crew, (omgyay!), we have decided to give you bonus episodes all month LONG!
And on today's Bonus Episode, we talk all 3 of our Childhood Favorites, the flicks that we couldn't live without during the Halloween Season. Jensen's pick is Hocus Pocus, Courtney's is Halloweentown, and Whit's is The Nightmare Before Christmas! Alllll the nostalgia built up in one freaking episode.
This week on the podcast, we invited our amazing friend, Lauren from Swapping Horror Stories Podcast on to have an in depth look at the sub-genre Children's Horror. We list over 30 flicks to let your kids (or not!) watch that won't completely ruin their tiny, blossoming minds.
Also, since when did they cast Ja Rule in The Addams Family? Wait...do we know what the hell we're talking about?

And on today's Bonus Episode, we are re-covering The Witch from 2015! With this being one of everyone's favorites and the old version needing to be deleted, we knew that we had to cover it again! Stay Witchy!
This month's theme is but of course, Haunted Attractions! It wouldn't be our Spooky Season without Haunted Attractions! And tonight, Whit pulled Hell House LLC from 2015 out of the Body Bag! We talk about that this film is actually both super quotable, and yet still terrifying at some points. We also talk about the fact that this movie was shot inside of a real Haunted Attraction!
Can the three of us find our way out of this incredibly confusing hotel? Probably wouldn't have been there in the first place.

And on today's Bonus Episode, we are throwing it back a bit to when it was just Jensen and Whit, and they were greeted by the super awesome Erica and Lance from Unsung Horrors! They decided to pit Dario Argento's The Bird With the Crystal Plumage against Mario Bava's A Bay of Blood against each other. Which classic Giallo will come out on top this time!?
