  • How I Prepared My Body for Pregnancy Naturally

I’m sharing the physical side of how Josh and I prepared for pregnancy.

After talking about the emotional and spiritual healing journey that led me to motherhood, I wanted to share the practical lifestyle changes we made before trying to conceive. I discuss low-tox swaps, nutrition, alcohol, strength training, acupuncture, herbs, prenatals, sleep, stress, underwear, and detox support.

This isn’t meant to be a perfect checklist or medical protocol. For me, preparing for pregnancy wasn’t about trying to control the outcome. It was about creating the healthiest foundation we could before stepping into something sacred and unknown.

Perhaps the real question we’re asking in today’s conversation is “What would it look like to prepare for pregnancy from a place of stewardship instead of fear?”

  • How Gratitude Can Change the Way You Experience Life

In this voice message, I’m sharing the simple daily habit that quietly transformed mine. From letting one bad moment ruin an entire day to discovering that hard isn’t the same as bad, I talk about the gratitude practice that slowly rewired my thinking, changed my outlook, and helped me experience more joy in ordinary life.

I’ll also share the surprising research behind gratitude, the morning routine that made the biggest difference for me, and a simple challenge you can start today.

If you’ve been feeling discouraged, overwhelmed, or like life has been especially heavy lately, I hope this conversation reminds you that gratitude isn’t about pretending life is perfect; it’s about refusing to let what’s hard become the only thing you see.

  • What Made Me Change My Mind About Having Kids

For years, I would have very confidently told you that I did not want children. Now? My husband and I are expecting our first baby and yes, we planned it!

So today, I’m answering the question I’ve been asked more than almost any other: what made me change my mind about having kids?

In this voice memo, I’m sharing the deeper story behind that decision: the childhood experiences that shaped my fears around motherhood, the years of emotional and spiritual healing that followed, the cultural messages many millennial women absorbed about career, motherhood, sacrifice, and identity, and the moment I finally realized I did want to become a mother.

This is for the woman who is on the fence, the woman who once said “never,” or the woman who feels a quiet longing she doesn’t quite know what to do with yet.

  • The Quiet Power of a Perspective Shift

What if the breakthrough you’re waiting for isn’t on the other side of changed circumstances?

In this episode I’m sitting down at 6 am with my coffee and reflecting on the power of perspective and how some of the biggest transformations in life happen not when our circumstances change, but when our perspective does.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, frustrated, or dissatisfied with an area of your life, this episode is a gentle invitation to ask a different question:

What if nothing needs to change except the way you’re looking at it? Or can looking at it differently, change your circumstances?

  • Voice messages are the new love letters

Have you ever received a voice message? They’re amazing! Like an open letter to friends. They’re vulnerable, funny, and easy to put together.

My best friend and I sometimes spend an hour a day sending voice notes back and forth. It’s just a beautiful way to keep up with each other when life is busy. We even joke “on today’s podcast episode” …. Which made me think “hey, why don’t I just record simple voice messages for the podcast?”

So here we are. They will not be perfectly edited but they will be made with love. I hope you enjoy them and I hope you respond with your own voice message on my IG @allisonsueelliott or even just an email at [email protected].

  • What Does "Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant" Really Mean?

We’ve all heard the phrase, “Well done, good and faithful servant”, but what did Jesus actually mean when He said it? In this episode, we'll unpack the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25) and Paul’s final words in 2 Timothy 4:7–8 to explore what faithfulness really looks like in the life of a believer.

    You’ll hear:

    • The deeper meaning behind Jesus’ parable and where this phrase comes from.

    • How God entrusts each of us with gifts and callings “according to our ability.”

    • Why “finishing the race” matters more than perfection or comparison.

    • How answering your calling with daily obedience leads to eternal joy and hearing those words: “Well done.”

This conversation will encourage you to see your identity, calling, and purpose through the lens of faithfulness; not striving.
