The Full Circle: Linking Songs with Musicians & Friends

Andy hosts the incredible podcast Behind The Camera where he interviews creators & innovators to uncover the stories behind their work.

On the episode, Andy talks about the idea behind his podcast, shares a great fun fact, answers some tough Would You Rather questions including whether he'd rather have 20 more minutes with Frank Turner or Brendan B Brown of Wheatus, and so much more! The songs he chose were epic, ranging from The Police to Black Stone Cherry.

Callum Gillies is a truly remarkable person who has probably done anything you can think of at least once in his life! He works as a Proton Physicist in London and is also a vocalist for the UKs "hardest swinging band" Down For The Count! They put on epic shows live and you can get tickets for them here: https://www.downforthecount.co.uk/live-dates/

Callum shares a great fun fact which he promises that he will never do again, he answers some tough Would You Rather questions including choosing NHS or Music, and we find out if Buzzfeed can guess Callum's age based on a 5-Song Mixtape

Try for yourself here: https://www.buzzfeed.com/audreyworboys/music-personality-age-quiz

There was also so much great additional chat, including chessboxing (I know, sounds completely made up, right?!), being in a metal band when younger, and standing up to bullies.

Callum's Full Circle was great, ranging from Tower Of Power to Tom McGuire & The Brassholes! Playlist for the songs here: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5pf7LuwAz1tnkDHz6pv6S1?si=B2ckSg36QmGckyoebTaxzA

Thank you so much to Callum for the great chat; an absolute honour to call you a friend! And thank you as always for checking out the episode and the ongoing support!

Legitimately is legitmately not used in its proper sense quite often, but I do believe the word is used legitmately on the title! This week's Full Circle was 5 completely random songs from my "random songs playlist" which include my favourite songs over the years!

Here's the playlist for the songs: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0WY9AerHbDT4ta3rdF7bfe?si=q_bJh-8eT5O9tBxD0MMVzA

You may notice that the length is quite short compared to the usual! I explain why that is the case on this week's episode, and the usual service should resume next week! (hopefully)

On a Full Circle first, I shared 5 funny "Dad Jokes", taken from the Reddit Page "Dad Jokes". You do not need to be a dad to get the jokes (I'm not), but I'm sure it doesn't help, and I assume you'd be more likely to say these types of jokes. Share some of your favourite "Dad Jokes" in the comments, and I'll reply / read them out on a future episode!

Hope you enjoy the slightly shorter than usual Full Circle, and thank you for all the support as always!

Someone who I've known her whole life, my sister, Debalina, has made her Full Circle debut! We might have an 11 year age gap but we still share very similar tastes in music (except maybe k-pop, which Debalina loves!)

On the show, Debalina shares a great fun fact (emo fans will enjoy this one), answers some tough Would You Rather questions, and the wise one Abid shares his Words of Wisdom with Debalina giving her thoughts!

She also does a fun Buzzfeed quiz where Buzzfeed had to guess her taste in music... how well did Buzzfeed do? Try for yourself too https://www.buzzfeed.com/perpetua/can-we-guess-your-taste-in-music

And of course, Debalina creates her Full Circle, ranging from Don Broco (probably a bigger fan than I am now!) to Olivia Rodrigo!

Thank you Debalina for being a great guest on this week's Full Circle, and thank you for listening and for the support as always :)

I need to stop having these ideas that doing food challenges that are also in the Guinness World Records after doing a night shift is clever, because I'm not entirely sure they are!

It was still a fun show to make following a set of night shifts and I hope you enjoy listening to a solo show after an incredible 2 week run of musicians!

I answer some tough Would You Rather Live Music Edition questions, Abid shares his first Words of Wisdom of 2026, and I try and beat the Guinness World Record for the most Maltesers I can swallow when thrown in the air in 60 seconds!

And of course, I create The Full Circle, and this week's songs are bit more dance orientated, ranging from Avicii to DJ Fresh!

All this and so much more on this week's Full Circle! I hope you enjoy it!

House & Home Vocalist and Guitarist Pat Williams is the very special guest on The Full Circle! House & Home are an incredible alternative rock band from Richmond, Virginia in USA and they released their superb sophomore album I Won't Look For You on 14th November 2025, and I would recommend checking it out and their back catalogue, but maybe only from 2020 as Pat explains why not the earlier stuff on The Full Circle...

He shares a great fun fact, answers some tough Would You Rather questions, and plays a great quiz (title marginally inferior) called House & Home or Houseless & Homeless! We take a deep dive into House & Home's music as well as their new album!

Pat also creates a great Full Circle, songs ranging from Down To Nothing to The National! Playlist here: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0psHpokSHECTaOhW4UMexw?si=TIDsLdl8TdCAkm4quC6NhQ

If you're in Virginia on 31st January 2026, check out House & Home live where they will be playing the latest album in full and the classics too!

*To avoid any doubt, the last sentence on the title is a joke. All award shows are as important as each other. You may interpret that in any way you wish.

The final Full Circle of 2025 is the DC Awards 2025! The categories are as follows:

Artist of the Year

One(s) for the Future

Gig of the Year

Album of the Year

Song of the Year

DC's Life Moment of the Year

Let me know your thoughts!

The Full Circle songs this week are 5 of my favourite songs chosen by musicians I have had on the show, ranging from Enter Shikari to New Order! So many incredible songs chosen for the show, and I cannot thank all the incredible musicians that have been on the show on the Full Circle's first year!

I also reveal two musicians that are going to be on the first two shows of 2026!

And we cannot end 2025 without some Abid's Words of Wisdom and this week's an old school one from a decade ago!

Thank you for listening to the show and I'm super excited to continue The Full Circle journey in 2026!
