The Full10Yards NFL Podcast

Britball was back on the field and on our screens last Sunday and one of those games saw the Tamworth Phoenix defeat the Falcons 12-7 in a close battle. We are joined by the winning Coach and friend of the program Jason Scott as he talks about the game including when muscle memory took over on some contentious call but also his thoughts on how he thought his offence/defence performed as well as Leicester's.

IT'S HERE! Week 1 of Britball is upon us and we break it down with Jason Bowdler of the UK American Football scene group. Our favourite matchups, our possible upsets as we run through all 18 games!  #BAFA #Britball #ForTheGame #Week1 #AmericanFootball

Tim is joined by some of the Gridiron Hub gang as Steve, Chris and Sean all join Tim in the huddle.

We talk about the upcoming season, the anomalies of what the fixture list and divisional setup has brought us and some predictions!

This week in the world of college football we discuss the impacts of the new transfer rule which allows for a one-time transfer with immediate eligibility.

We talk pros, we talk cons, we talk how teams will suffer and how the big boys will take the lunch money of others (and already have) and we also discuss whether this means that college football is taking another step towards professionalism?

This week we are joined by Edd Purslow - Club secretary and O-lineman from the Black Knights. We talk about the tumult with the club over the last few years including the withdrawal of the team from the 2018 playoffs, the winless season in 2019 and what the upcoming regionalised season means to him and the team.

To follow on from Ed's article on this very topic, we thought that we would discuss fixing the college football playoff in a little bit more detail! We talk over options for a 16, 12 and 8 team playoff format because everyone knows that 4 simply IS NOT ENOUGH. The committee mess it up every single year and more games means more fun and more games is better for everyone.

Come on in and listen to us make college football even better.

Next up on the UK tour we speak to budding Prem North team, the Sandwell Steelers. We are joined by Operations Manager a.k.a the self-anointed Mr Sandwell Steeler himself Stuart Andrew and newly installed HC Paul Kent as they talk about the lat 12 months, their thoughts on the upcoming regionalised divisions and the lofty aspirations of the team. We also have a special announcement right out of the gate!

Kieran is joined this week by Ste Tough, fellow Full10Yards member to discuss the birds. Talk about last season's effort, moving on from Wentz/Pederson to Hurts/Sirianni and whether this year's draft class can help right away. Also, on the YouTube channel, spot the costume change...eat your heart out Lady Gaga!!  #NFL #NFLUK #Eagles #FlyEaglesFly #Philadelphia #ForTheGame

Every single year there is a heck of a lot of buzz generated when the rookies finally get on the practice field and this year is no different!

We talk; Mac Jones, Kyle Pitts, Penei Sewell, Ja'Marr Chase and a whole host of other rookies in today's episode... come and listen to our thoughts on these guys and what we've been hearing from OTAs.

We catch up with a couple of the Northumberland Vikings on the next stop of the UK Tour. Head Coach Bryce Stevenson, who tells us about his journey through the Britball thus far. We also chat with Team captains Connor Joyce and Ross Conley as they talk about how they got into the sport and their aspirations. They discuss their thoughts on the upcoming regional divisions and how they intend to overcome getting over the final hurdle and getting into the Premier Division after near misses in Div 1 Bowl games.  #Northumberland #Vikings #Britball #ForTheGame
