It’s been one year since Journey From the Ashes was published, and in this episode I’m pulling up a chair to answer the question everyone keeps asking me: How’s it going?

The honest answer? Better than I imagined. Harder than I expected. And nothing like I planned.

We’ll talk about what really happens after the dream comes true: the wins worth celebrating, the surprises nobody warns you about, and the lessons I’ve learned about worth, purpose, and what it means to keep showing up once the big moment has passed. Because finishing the thing isn’t the end of the story. It’s the start of the next chapter.

What does it really mean to be redeemed?

To be redeemed is to be freed from what distresses, harms, or holds us captive. But that doesn’t mean the hard parts of our story disappear—or that everything gets restored to exactly the way it was.
