A little over a decade ago I met Rose through some mutual friends here in Silicon Valley and have had the opportunity to see her grow her career.
 
When we first met she had taken a Director position in Customer Success where see got to see a company go public and now only ten years later she has a successful acquisition to Cisco under her belt, has lead operations and strategy for a billion company and currently is the COO at Qumu, a global public company that has gone completely remote.

Rose has always prided herself on building teams and growing companies and from what I've seen chooses to give back more time in a day that I think exists leading as Board Chair for two non-profits as well as her day job, caring for those that can't speak, our furry friends - and protecting the innocence of youth with Huckleberry programs. 

We used to have lunch together once every few months to catch up and that hasn't happened during COVID. In this episode we catch up on what she's been up to, talk about how video will impact companies internally and externally into the future, and how Qumu went all in with a global remote work force.
