This week's were all about the future of A.R.T.- The Academy of Responsible Tattooing, that is! We sat down with Paul-Anthony Surdi to talk about art, apprenticeship, and his position as CEO of the Academy.
Coast to coast, ART has one of the more cohesive as well ethical tattoo artist training programs in the country, doubling in size each year since its inception, and topping off its record with the new Los Angeles location. In our interview, we not only discuss the incredible success of the Academy of Responsible Tattooing, but we also discuss the cultural currents powering the popularity of tattoos and also explore how this model of trade education could have potential for the future in light of exploding college tuition.
Ben and Greg also share their thoughts about Mark Zuckerberg's recent unveiling of a virtual reality (VR) version of Facebook and Samsung's recent safety debacle that culminated in the recall of over 2.5 million Galaxy Note 7 devices worldwide.
