Coach Krysta is fresh off a week-long vacation that has her feeling recharged and reflective on how we define what health and wellness really looks like--or "should" look like--in our day-to-day lives. Using her own personal experience, Krysta provides examples of how she approaches nutrition while she's traveling, some of which includes:


- Clearly defining your specific goals to assess what is and isn't worth it
- Focusing on food options that are unique to that destination--think, 'the best of' that given city, country, etc.
- Prioritizing protein early in the day
- Intentionally tracking your meals for awareness vs. trying to stay within your macronutrient goals

She also discusses how relationships, being present in the moment, and unplugging from the rest of the world in order to decompress are important components in improving your health.

Krysta acknowledges how challenging the summertime can be in staying the course--especially because we all tend to be a little bit more social.
