Has anyone ever made a detour in their journey just to help you? Jesus actually detoured for people out of love a lot in His earthly ministry. Join us this Sunday as we continue our Surprised by Jesus sermon series as we explore how He surprises us by still detouring for us today.

This week we continue our Surprised by Jesus series by looking at how Jesus confronts our struggle with shame and trust. Just as in Jesus’ day, the human condition and the religious environment we live in is so plagued with the struggle of shame that deep and meaningful trust is rare. We’ll explore how Jesus heals our shame and invites us to live in freedom and trust.

Doubts. We all have them. While it’s easy to keep doubts to ourselves, use them to push us away God or even feel ashamed for having them, Jesus invites us to not only have doubts, but to bring them to Him. He is not afraid of our questions or frustrations. This Sunday we begin our new series, Surprised by Jesus, taking a look at preconceived ideas we might have about Jesus and how he not only confronts them but flips them on their head. Join us as we take a look at how Jesus speaks into the doubts of one of the apostles who genuinely struggled with his faith in Jesus.

This Sunday, Christians all over the world will pause for Easter – the celebration of Jesus conquering sin and death through His resurrection from the dead. It’s easy to see the resurrection as an abstract truth removed from our daily lives, but that is far from reality. Join us this Sunday as we explore ways that the resurrection of Jesus deeply impacts our every day by looking at three types of people who witnessed the resurrection of Jesus in John 20.

This morning, we continue our Upside Down Kingdom series, hearing from guest speaker Cathy Bruce. As Christians, how do we usher in God’s Kingdom here on earth with the type of radical love Jesus models for us? Join us as we unpack why this is so challenging for us and how we can better love others in a counter cultural way

As Christ followers, it is our job to be Jesus to the world. Our speech, our actions, our relationships, what we post, how we spend our time and our money all say things about what being a follower of Jesus looks like. As God’s representation on the earth, what statement are we making with our lives? Is it authentic? Is it real? Is it Christ-like? In His Sermon on the Mount, Jesus calls us to live an elevated life – a life of freedom above and beyond the rituals and requirements of the law. Part of this will re-define the idea of authenticity. Jesus is essentially calling us to a life of #keepinitreal

This Sunday we continue our Upside Down series studying the teachings of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. Guest pastor Bryant Parsons walks us through Jesus’ instructions on anger, murder, and reconciliation. Our hope in this sermon series is to issue the challenge to us at the Gallery that unless the radical lifestyle Jesus describes is lived out – diffused from the Gallery into NYC –it is just mere words.
