The Catapult Effect

The Game of Ten® with Steve Barton

Listen Later

In this week’s episode of The Pain Changer, I chat with mindset coach and author of The Father, the Son, and the A-Ha Moment, Steve Barton, about his method of helping people make rapid mindset shifts.

Steve has created a unique approach he calls The Game of Ten®.

In this episode, you will:

  • Learn what the Game of Ten® is and how it can help you
  • Hear Steve and I share an A-ha moment about the freeze response that typically stems from trauma
  • Learn a new perspective on what is creating anxiety within your body
  • Learn what is under the freeze response with fight, flight or freeze
  • Learn what Steve considers to be pain…similar to my own beliefs

If you loved this episode and you got a lot out of it, leave a review and share your biggest takeaway with me. And while you've got your phone out, make sure to follow me on Instagram for more quick tips and tricks on how to change your experience with pain.

Post Show footnote: My friend’s session with Steve was awesome, which didn’t surprise me at all. Also…the next time I took my dog for a walk, we came across 2 unleashed dogs. Instead of freezing…I took action, stayed calm, and allowed the energy to course through my body without reacting. It was awesome!
