Reporting direct from Essen, Sean and Ronan give quick first impression reviews of six of the new releases they have been able to play so far. 

Sean and Ronan pick apart twelve more upcoming releases from Spiel 2018 and give their opinions on whether they are diamonds fit for a King or hearts fit for the bin. Join them as they prepare for Spiel by checking rulebooks, watching videos and anticipating what will be hot in just a few days time.

We are back again and running the ruler over twelve more upcoming releases at Spiel 2018. We have dug into rulebooks, examined videos and searched our souls to give you our best predictions for which games will be Treasures and which will be Traps at the show this year. 

In our Treasure Hunt episodes we have a look at unreleased games and make our predictions as to whether we think they will play like a dream and be deemed a Treasure or cause the worst nightmares and be branded a Trap.

With Spiel 2018 on the horizon we start of our predictions for the big show right here. Twelve games are poked and prodded until a verdict is reached and you might find something useful for your own Essen lists.

Sean and Ronan unleash Dan Hughes onto the listening public in a hype fueled Top 10 Most Anticipated for Essen 2018. 

The episode starts with reviews of six games before the hype machine really cranks up.

Sean and Ronan are joined by Pouria in a game of two halves. First up are nine reviews of games new and old which have fallen into The Pit recently. The latter part of this episode is a long form discussion about Brass: Lancashire and Brass: Birmingham from the points of view of Brass players old and new.

It is listen with caution this episode as Sean and Ronan entered The Pit with high hopes but too many games did not meet the standard. It was a rare title that got praise this time around. Find out which of the six games did meet with their favour and earn the right to stick around the culled collection.
