The Game-Tea Podcast

Game-Tea is back! Zar returns to the mic alongside new co-host Ben (AKA Jamm) for a packed episode of video game news, industry analysis, hot takes, and gaming culture.

The timing couldn't be wilder. Just an hour before recording, news broke that EA is shutting down BioWare and ending early development on the next Mass Effect project. The hosts discuss what this means for BioWare's legacy, the future of its beloved RPG franchises, and the growing concerns surrounding corporate ownership and monetization in the gaming industry.

This episode also explores major changes across the console landscape, from Xbox CEO Asha Sharma's new initiatives to PlayStation's planned end of physical disc production for new games in 2028.

IN THIS EPISODE:

The episode also features a look ahead to Spooky Smash, the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament at Hurrdat Sports Bar & Grill in La Vista, Nebraska.
