The Game Under Podcast

Tom Towers and Phil Fogg publish another epic episode of Australia's longest running video gaming podcast. We cover off a broad scope of topics and look back at Mikami's original Resident Evil.

Tom Towers and Phil Fogg discuss IGN's plagiarism scandal, the NES Classic, fashion, cats, Santo, Sam and Ed as well as Silent Hill, Cursed Mountain, Mission Impossible, whiskey, Her Story, Until Dawn, Deadly Premonition, SWERY, Dario Argenta and much much more!

Phil Fogg and Tom Towers give thier own Australian Twist (not a cocktail) on gaming and popular culture topics like, oh petrol sniffing.

Tom Towers and Phil Fogg talk about games from an Australian perspective, and a little bit of philosophy too.

After our first official "Lost Episode", our show 102, Tom and Phil drown their sorrows by taking on a completely non-gaming related topic, that of Shakespeare, and his place in literature.

Gagandeep Singh of the Endless Backlog Podcast joins Tom Towers in Smugcast 2, to discuss the Wonderful 101 (get it?), Horizon Zero Dawn, and probably some games things I've forgotten.

However, they definitely debate which is better, Bayonetta or Bayonetta 2; and whether Gagan and his bros simply suck at Metro and Killzone.

Tom and Phil talk about Super Mario Odessey, the status and future of gaming, their 100th show and serve a heaping serving of Trademark Banter.

Tom and Phil talk about new and old forms of games criticism as well as first and final impressions on a slew of games and hardware including:

Yoshi's Story Splatoon2 SNES Mini Nintendo Switch The Cat Lady Year Walk Titanfall II Mafia III Uncharted: Lost Legacy Yakuza 0 Transformers Destruction

Tom and Phil talk about the Retron 77, Uncharted 4, Goonies, Top 100 RPG's, Yazuka Zero, Transformers Destruction, Titanfall 2, Titan Souls, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Rage Racer, Ridge Racer Type 4, NegCon and JogCon. Also we settle what is worse, Automobiles or cinema.
