The Gamesilog Show

Way back January 2022 when I, Marc, and Brien recorded a podcast episode about our Most Anticipated Games of 2022, I declared that my most anticipated game is Sea of Stars.

The short trailer that I watched captured my attention and with my advance observation haki, I know it's going to be special.

Sea of Stars delivered.

Playing the game felt like Sabotage Studio knows what are my issues with JRPG and fixed it. The music is phenomenal. The animation of characters while in combat reminded me of Breath of Fire and other JRPGs that made me fall in love with the genre.

I cried a lot in this game. I got very emotional dahil sa story behind making this game. Ahhhhh video games forever.

In this episode, fan-favorite Marc San Pedro of PlayStation Trophy Hunters Philippines joined me to discuss and talk about the best indie game of 2023.

In this episode, sinamahan ako nila Ardee, EdgyWeeeb, at Ate Cas ng Backlog Na Naman!

I always wonder what it's like to have a GF na gamer rin.

In this episode, I invited gaming couple Ron and Joy para pagkwentuhan 'yung mutual love nila sa video games at 'yung ambag nito sa relationship nila. Totoo bang couples that play games together stay together? Samahan niyo kong maki-3rd wheel sa kanila. :D

But that's just me.

Kaya I invited fellow JRPG enjoyers na sila Lason Lord Rhye G, Tito Teej ng Backlog Na Naman! Budolcast, ADFLX, and Kagespace para pagusapan at sagutin ang tanong na "What makes a great JRPG" ba talaga?

Though may area of opportunity pa rin sa culmination at conclusion ng story, I can confidently say that this is the best JRPG that I played this year.

In this episode, sinamahan ako ni Lason Lord Master Rhye G para pagusapan itong modern classic na 'to. Fan ka ng JRPG? Para sa'yo 'to.
