The Gamesilog Show

"The All Blue is a mystical sea of legend, rumored to be the only place in the world where the North, South, East, and West eas meet. In this legendary ocean, it is said that there are fishes from each of the four seas, and to have such a resource at one's disposal is the ultimate dream of every chef. It will always be a discussion kung ano ang best film ni Makoto Shinkai. But for me, 5 Centimeters per Second 'yung may pinaka malakas na emotional impact sa akin.

Makoto Shinkai's storytelling and themes about distance and moving on resonated with me so much I can't help but make a Side Quest episode about it. Sobrang lala.

In this episode, I invited John of Puro Ka Laro! Podcast, the one who recommended me this film and Sherwin of Sher Mo Lang podcast dahil ito 'yung favorite Makoto Shinkai film niya.

I also want to dedicate this episode sa lahat ng listeners na malayo sa mahal nila ngayong pasko. Ramdam ko kayo. Merry Christmas sa inyong lahat!

Second to the last episode of TGS ngayong 2021 ay para sa isa sa mga OG video game podcaster ng Pinas - si Jaemi De Guzman ng Puro Ka Laro! Podcast. Finally! Years in the making ito.

Second half of the show is all about Microtransactions, Exclusivity, NFT Games, at kung ano-anong tangent.

Tara.

Francis, a new listener of The Gamesilog Show suggested that we make a part 2 of our last year's episode Top 5 Video Game Bosses pero Optional Bosses naman daw. So I invited him sa podcast.

Kayo? Ano Top 5 Optional Bosses niyo?

Kumusta? Let's do nostalgia episode guys and gals! Let's talk about the games that made us.

On this episode, I invited an OG listener at lehitimong TGS Nakama from the land of kimchi, South Korea - Richie! Mga games na nalaro namin na hanggang ngayon e we view as the most impactful game sa buhay namin.

Tara.

It's no secret that most of the time, we're playing games to "escape". Specially now na adults na tayo, we realized kung gaano ka-importante 'yung video games sa buhay natin. It's our sanctuary. It's our comfort food. It's the place where we can escape and be a badass protagonist that can deal 99,999 damage to our enemies just like in Final Fantasy.

Sa episode na 'to, I invited Norvin John of PlayStation Trophy Hunters Philippines, Npulpy, and The Phantom Dibs to discuss how video games saved our lives. Trigger warning guys, we talked about anxiety and the games that helped us battle these demons inside our heads.

Tara, let's be vulnerable and talk about the moments when video games saved our lives.

Happy Anniversary Spider-Man: Miles Morales!

On this episode, Kuya Bols joined me to discuss everything about Miles Morales - Story, characters, gameplay, predictions, etc.

I grew up and trained by our society na kapag maitim ka e panget ka. I know. It's awful and racist and bad. But please, take your time to listen to this episode hanggang dulo.

This is my current favorite episode of TGS this year 2021.
