Advent draws our minds to celebrate the coming of our savior the first time, but it also teaches us how to wait for the second coming of our king.

2. How do we change the character of God as we wait? What ideas do we project on God that aren't true when we wait?

3. Have you ever been confused on the path God has you? What are your tendencies when you wait on the Lord?

4. Why do you think it's hard for us to believe that God sees us and answers our prayers?

5. What have you stopped praying for because God didn't answer it immediately?

In this episode, Pastor Tyler reshapes our understanding of 1 Peter 1:16. If we view the phrase “Be holy, because I am holy” as a command, it gives us an impossible task. Tyler dives into what the statement means and how we should “accept what is.”
