Today we continue to encounter the various responses to King Jesus and this morning we experience the response of faith. Jesus is surrounded by a massive crowd and he has compassion on them. He calls the disciples to serve them and meet their needs but they cannot. Jesus then supplies all of the necessary food to feed the thousands. As we apply this to our life today, what we discover is that God has revealed to us a Savior who supplies and serves through his people.

Jesus is the rock of offense, and John the model martyr for the Christian.
