. If Jesus’ claims about himself prove to be true and we are actually loved by God in Christ, what do we do? Where do we go? Deeper into vulnerability, deeper into love, deeper into Christ Jesus. Yet, where we are and where we hope to be are often at odds with one another. This Sunday we had the pleasure of having Kyle McMahon and his family visit us as a part of their candidacy weekend. Kyle shared with us a sermon that aims to help us see that breadth of the gospel and its implications for here and now. The themes of a new creation (Eden), fulfilled promises (Israel), and deliverance from the oppressor (Rome) all emerge from Mark 1:1 and that's where we'll be.
