Jesus has the authority to heal us despite our background. We can come to Jesus with all our sin, sickness, and sorrow.

Faith is to live up to the future as if what we hope for was already here. Jesus is the light that brings life, He is calling us to follow Him and fulfill our purpose. It is time to look ahead.

Jesus was baptized to make a public statement that his life was dedicated to God and his purposes. We should follow Jesus in baptism as an outward expression of an inward decision to live for him.
