In 1 Corinthians 13, we remember that love is the defining characteristic of God and so it ought to be a growing quality in the life Christians. The love described in this passage is not something you “fall into” but concrete actions you practice. This text invites us to examine whether our lives are marked by the self-giving, other centered love that mirrors the posture of Jesus.

Prayer is not supposed to be a one-way conversation; it’s supposed to be a two-way conversation, where we speak with God and learn to hear his voice speaking back to us. So how does this happen?
