Revelation 21:5 (TPT)
Have you ever listened to a song (in worship or on the radio) and been so convinced of the words... only to find out you were wrong? Have you ever passed the same business over and over only noticing it when they finally change the sign? Some Scripture verses become so familiar that we assume we know what they mean. Or we may have never understood them in the first place only accepting what someone else told us.
During Too Familiar we will look at some very familiar Scripture verses (and one that isn’t even in Scripture!) and find the deeper truth.
Goal: We will journey through some familiar passages of Scripture creating a desire to revisit other passages on our own. We will see the beauty and power of Scripture.
