We all know that most resolutions don't end up working.  And that is bummer, because we all have things about our lives, maybe about ourselves, we'd love to improve.

On Christmas Eve Mike Gathright took one last look at what Christmas can mean for us.

This week during the Gathering, Mike Gathright explored the difference between the holiday and history of Christmas and how that difference can make all the difference in our real lives.
 

December.  What?!  We all know what that means - traveling, shopping, parties, shopping, traveling, eating, driving, cooking, eating, flying, shopping...and on and on it goes.  Why?  What for?  
Is there any way we can restore some sanity, encouragement, inspiration, even rest into what has become the craziest time of year?  Mike Gathright is going to explore the original reason behind Christmas in the hope of doing just that.

By now we all know that gratitude is good for us. Those of us who see the glass as half full, who find the silver lining and focus on the rainbow, seem to go much further in life.

But is that all that thankfulness is for?

Urgency is a tyrant.  When something is big, spectacular, disastrous, when the clock is ticking - we just have to deal with it.  There isn't a lot we can do about that, unfortunately, the urgent usually takes our attention from the important.

We just finished a series of Gatherings asking some big questions about Storyline and life. Among other things we discovered the most important issue before all of us is the question - is God good?  Now we are going to take on the first question...Is God real?
This is an issue more and more people struggle with now so Mike Gathright is going to explore the plausibility of the existence of God. 

Little kids are always asking the same question - why?  Over and over again.  Why is the sky blue? Why do monkeys climb trees? Clean your room.  Why?  There is something very elemental about why? So here's a question...why?
