January 18, 2016 Happy? // Pt. 2 // Rev. Matt Miofsky
We all dream of being happy. If we could just lose the extra weight, get the job, buy the house, we could truly be happy. But over time, it begins to seem as though lasting happiness is unattainable. That despite our best efforts, true happiness will never be a reality for us. So how do we find lasting happiness and contentment in our lives? Maybe the answer isn’t in our own lives at all.

December 21, 2015 Unexpected // Pt. 4 // Rev. Matt Miofsky
For most of us Christmas has become predictable. We eat the same foods. We go to the same parties. We watch the same movies. We think we know exactly what is coming. The same was true for the people who experienced the first Christmas, until god did something unexpected in every way. This Advent we will look to Christmas to help us discover the wonder of Jesus’ birth, and begin to prepare for God to do the unexpected in our lives.
