In the last part of Acts 20, we saw that the apostle Paul called together the elders of the church in Ephesus in what would be the first of a number of farewell addresses that he would give as he journeyed to Jerusalem and almost certain death. As we saw, when we know that we’re talking with people we love for the last time, we don’t mess around with a lot of fluff.
