The Gawdcast

The #Pelicans go 4-0 through Summer League play, and though they didn't advance to the championship game, we learned a lot.

-Trey Murphy III was NOT the 17th best player in the 2021 #NBA draft

-Herb Jones has all the tools to play in the NBA

-Naji is too good for SL -Jose Alvarado was a solid pick up on a two-way

-Didi and Kira got extra reps -Willie Green is the coach of the future in New Orleans

Also, Josh Hart decided to rejoin the Pelicans on a 3 year, $38 million contract. Is there still a play for Buddy Hield?

Marc Stein reports that New Orleans may have interest in Kyle Lowry -- how much he can do to improve their ceiling / would Lonzo stick around? Zion's not an Olympian, but Javale McGee is. Wut

Collin Sexton rumors have been circulating for a few weeks now -- rumors including the Pels making a move for him. Does he fit with New Orleans? What the market for Lonzo looks like and the fact NOLA's front office is unwilling to sign a 'significant offer sheet.' And lastly, it looks like it's time for Willie Green.

To learn more about Green check out our previous pod with Duane Rankin of The AZ Republic.
