I wanted to kick off this brand new season by blending black history with gay pride while paying homage to a really dope activist who helped cultivate the pavement made to celebrate and sustain what we've come to know as Gay Pride Month. In this episode, I'm shining light on gay, civil rights activist, Bayard Rustin. We also get into Mercury's Retrograde, and reflect on what gay pride looked like in the 80's.
