  • TGE EP 80 — Watches: Quaran-Times

    Oh my goodness, it's real people!

    TGE Watches is back with a new episode after eight weeks in quarantine! This month, we're getting in the wayback machine as Dante, Regina, and Izzie explore what we've been rewatching. Dante has completed a complete rewatch of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and all 13 Star Trek movies. Izzie's started her eight-billionth rewatch of Leverage, and Regina has completed her first rewatch of Veronica Mars in a very long time. Join us for an hour of mostly lighthearted banter and at least a few minutes of Dante having strong feelings about Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.

    Greetings and salutations, dear listeners!

    I hope you’re all doing as well as you can in this new and…. well... interesting? era of coronavirus.  The Geek Embassy is lucky that our ambassadors have been recording remotely for years and we’re happy that in a fairly bleak time we can still create content for you.

    This month is a mix of old and new as Dante, Regina, and Isabela explore four exciting properties: Locke & Key (Netflix), Good Omens (Amazon Prime), Good Girls (NBC), and Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn (Warner Bros).  Join us for an hour of lighthearted banter and at least 10 minutes of Dante having strong feelings about Birds of Prey.

    Stay safe and wash your hands! Join us next month as we see how the gang is doing after a month of social distancing with only Netflix to comfort us.

    .We're back in the lab again with a new episode of TGE Watches and debuting a new format for 2020! This month, Dante, Regina, Isabela, and Stephen cover two of the hottest streaming shows right now: The Mandalorian from Disney+ and The Witcher from Netflix. In our roundup, we also cover the latest seasons of Netflix's The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and NBC's The Good Place. Finally, we look forward to the imminent debuts of Picard on CBS All Access and Locke & Key on Netflix. Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is... a movie that's coming out in February. Dante has feelings about it. They're not great.

Your usual host Dante fills the role of Jon Snow in this episode of TGEW because he knows nothing about the show, having stopped watching after season 1. Thankfully, cast members Nicole (of the podcast Geeky Thrones Girl), Regina, Jaye, and Isabela are here to set him straight. We cover literally everything about season 8 from start to finish. If you're one of the seven GOT fans in the world who still hasn't seen season 8, you should probably skip this episode and come back later.
