The Gemstone Serie

Santa Barbara carves the silence with abrupt and abrasive percussion, each hit landing like an interrogation mark you can’t ignore. Between those strikes, elegant and hypnotic textures unfold, soft-spoken yet deeply persuasive, wrapping the space in a slow, intoxicating response. Nothing here is explained. It’s suggested, implied, felt. The beats demand, the atmospheres reply, and somewhere in between, the question dissolves into sound.

We are so glad to premiere the new track from our dear apaj to be released on the new compilation from the wonderful label of our Parisian friends, murmure.

Whispers of unusual sounds, playful motifs, and unexpected turns.

A slightly unsettling world — a dimly lit tent, a few eerily strange clowns…

A mischievous, subtly ironic atmosphere.

With Gavroche, apaj invites you into a strange, almost surreal fairground.

Catalogue No.: CREP11

Release-Date: 28.03.26

A restrained groove, elegant and steady.
The air moves between notes like a second rhythm. Every texture feels carefully shaped, touchable and alive.
Basslines beneath subtle overtones and evolving pads: tension is your friend, release is your freedom
In Distance, space becomes the most instrument, a journey with a never-ending feeling.

Crépite is very happy to welcome to this first and exclusive collaboration between Christopher Schwarzwälder, a key figure who has been shaping the slower scene since its early days, and jorke, a dear friend of Crépite, known for his deeply distinctive and rooted sound.

‘Distance’ offers two different versions, each artist interpreting the same singular guitar riff and slow-moving structure in their own way. ‘Point Blank’ appears as a more energetic, dancefloor-oriented piece, shaped through their collaboration.

💎 The Gemstone series is all about the artists we love, the ones we support and believe in.

With this series, we are going back to the roots of the Crépite philosophy: Discovering and sharing gems.

It is with great excitement that we present to you the new chapter of 'The Gemstone' by dit:eau.

Lucas was one of the very first artists we invited to contribute to this series. Beyond being an incredible music selector, he has been a close friend of Crépite since the beginning.

Having him finally join the series feels truly special.

Thank you deeply, Lucas, for curating these rare gems and beautiful untypical sounds, and for turning this Gemstone into such a unique listening journey; drifting through ambient textures, dub atmospheres, and broken rhythms.

Gemstones #13 is here, and we couldn’t be happier.

• Laurent has been part of the Crépite. family since the very beginning... with a single, an EP, and remixes that have all carried his unique touch. It felt only natural to return to the heart of our artistic direction: creating moments of joy with our friends.

Now, the time has finally come for him to craft his own Gemstone. A journey shimmering with deep grooves and luminous textures, reminding us why these podcasts exist in the first place: to share music that crackles with emotion.

Gemstones are back! and this one shines especially bright.

Step carefully — the Boot is being assembled.

Forged from leathered basslines and stitched with high-frequency threads, this EP is the result of detailed sonic craftsmanship. Apaj shapes the upper with delicate textures and airy contours, a skin of atmosphere cut to precision. Beneath, Laurent Flaoh builds the sole — heavy, rhythmic, unshakeable — hammering grooves into place with relentless intention.

Every sound is a stitch, every silence a fold. Together, they sculpt a structure made to move: sharp, durable, and built for the unknown terrain of your mind.
