This particular welfare program is for the educated—56% of the college debt is owed by 14% of Americans with master’s and PhD degrees. But the real reason for this spending binge is found in a New York Times Article: "College graduates are now a firmly Democratic bloc, and they are shaping the party's future." While the college bubble was bursting, the Democrats panicked. How best to indoctrinate the next batch of American voters—but to keep them in college and pay for it by government freebies? Davy Crockett opposed the first federal welfare programs, informing his colleagues in Congress this is "not yours to give." We say to the federal government now, “This is not yours to forgive."
Alex and Stephen Kendrick’s new film production “LifeMark” serves as a timely call upon the nation before the 2022 elections. Though met with resistance by Hollywood studios (not to mention principalities and powers), the powerful, inspiring film calls the world to choose life, to love life, to take adoption over abortion. Get the heart of the film in this interview, and then watch it on September 9th and 10th.
Immodest dress in Sunday morning church service. Rowdy children during fellowship time. Sin issues. Conflict. Confrontation. How does a church navigate these matters? Are they leadership issues or matters that need to be worked out one-on-one between members? It takes faith and love NOT to confront. It takes faith and love to confront. It takes faith and love to forgive, and to seek forgiveness. It's the warp and woof of the church. How does a church navigate sensitive issues without relationships coming apart? What's a healthy church look like?
The East is on the rise. The West is on the decline. And, the dividing line is Ukraine and Russia, with Russia at least pretending to hold to "traditional" marriage. But the same thing is happening with the Nancy Pelosi-supported Taiwan vs. China that at least wants to pretend to hold to "traditional" marriage. Is war inevitable between the "traditionalist" East and the "progressive" West? Make no mistake about it. The nations are more vulnerable to destruction than they ever have been before.
State subsidies. Pell grants. Title VII and Title IX. Bostock. College bubble. Accommodation laws. An 800-year infatuation with secular knowledge built up on human reason in the Christian college. It's a perfect storm for the elimination of the Christian college, especially for the 95%+ that are tied in to federal funding. Presidents of two colleges (Biola and Colorado Christian University) admit that they are in the fight of their lives . . . for bare survival. But the real issue will be epistemological. Will this be a secular institution seeking truth built up on human reason, or will this be a biblical institution formed solidly on special revelation, not so much natural theology anymore? We get to the core issue.
Where is the heart of this country going into the 2022 elections? This will be the key moment in American elections after the Supremes washed their hands of the blood of the innocents and passed it on to the voters. While Democrats commit to a pro-abortion stance, will Republicans commit to a pro-life position or cling to hopes of "conservative" economics, whatever that means? This is still a call for humility, brutal honesty, and an incorrigible commitment to principle on the part of Christians and conservatives.
What happens to a nation that drops off its 3-year-old children at daycare? What happens to a nation that doubles the square footage of their homes, while cutting its birth rate in half?
Mary Eberstadt is author of “Home Alone America.” In this interview, she reviews the hidden costs of daycare.
Warning: This program is only for parents who love their children and will insist on the best for their children.
The Church of England is incapable of defining a woman, but we are not only willing to define a woman, we are also able and willing to give the biblical ethical position on cannibalism. With the rise of cannibalism and other forms of insanity, we provide a sane Word to an insane world on this edition of the program.
1970s pop singer and movie star Olivia Newton-John has gone to meet her Maker at 73 years of age. The good-girl-goes-bad persona led a generation of young people the wrong way . . . whether that be the hit movie "Grease" or her hit song "Let's Get Physical." Things are 100 times worse today on the music scene, but these were more important revolutionary steps towards the cultural destruction we are experiencing today. We analyze the Olivia Newton-John worldview as provided by her most recent interviews on this edition of the program.
America's socio-political state has been relatively stable for 230+ years, but now we have taken concerted steps towards revolution. As one Senator put it, we have crossed the Rubicon with the present shenanigans at the highest echelons. But it could never happen here . . . or could it? We review the Killing Fields of Cambodia, the Nazi nightmare, and the Soviet experiment. What were the seedbeds out of which came these nightmares? It's important that you know your history, lest history repeat itself. Or is it too late? Will America abandon the rule of law, especially the rule of God's law?
