Christian homeschool parents are in prison in Cuba. More Christian parents and pastors are in trouble in China for attempting to give them a Christian education. We make the point that this is the core spiritual battle going on in the Christian world today. The tug-of-war is over our children. The pressures in America are different than China, but just about as strong.

Is it poverty and unemployment that makes cities a rotten, miserable place?  Do we blame it on the poor? Or, is it the fact that people are breaking the commandments of God? The worst cities and most immoral cities in the country are San Francisco, Washington DC, Detroit, and Gary Indiana?   We point to abortion, welfare, sexual sin, and the like as the causes for destroying cities — which usually results in drug problems, poverty, and unemployment.

How does a criminal get arrested 40 to 50 times, and turn out to be the most prolific serial killer in US history?  Where was justice thirty years before he murdered all those people? Why does the modern world avoid justice, spanking, and consequences? What’s the worldview here? The message is clear.  If there are no consequences here on earth, maybe, just maybe there won’t be any consequences on judgment day.

“The Joker” is the most popular movie in the country now.  The move from sheer evil to a self-conscious ethical relativism happens quickly in these franchise serials. We review the Joker’s transition in worldview from tragedy to comedy, and then move to the director’s move towards complete metaphysical relativism. We also note that so far this year movies retaining a biblical worldview captured 0.6% of box office receipts.  Pretty slim over all.

Christian families are getting persecuted badly in Cuba.  Here is a first hand report of Christian parents in prisons and work camps in Cuba for attempting to pull their kids out of public schools and homeschooling them. As with all communists and socialists, Christians are persecuted for keeping their kids out of the public schools and giving them a discipleship in the Lord.

In the year 2011, Time Magazine featured a front page article touting man’s overweening scientific optimism with these words: "Immortal by 2045." Three years later, the life expectancy of Americans dropped (for the first time in 150 years). "The boat is unsinkable, I tell you!" Man is still hoping that world unity will come by technology, prosperity will come by technology, and salvation will be ours through technology. The Federal Reserve cannot save you either. Afraid of the monster of all recessions, the Federal Reserve is lowering the prime with very little cushion left. 5.25 percent isn’t enough to save us from the next recession of all recessions. Only God can save us now. The lesson is theological and religious - always. Where is your faith?

Lifeway reports that evangelicals are more committed to socialism, shutting down immigration, and healthcare than they are to the pro-life position. We conclude that this has everything to do with their media choices.  Evangelicals are 80% influenced by the left-wing media, and very little influenced by pastors and Christian news sources.  The majority of professing Christians do not care about what the Bible really says.  But, they seem to care what Huffington Post, NBC, and CNN says.

The life of Cain and the loss of relationship in the modern world has been completed, finally.  Fully 95% of teens have a smartphone, and twice as many are “constantly on it” as were four years ago.  The average of age of kids getting into porn is now 11 years of age. Will parents get their kids away from peers now, or just let them wander into the wilderness East of Eden at 11 years of age?  Parents will either homeschool their kids or increasingly lose them to the this out-of-control post-modern medium.  There is no other meaningful solution.  Kevin Swanson provides eight rules he would use for controlling media in the home, if he was raising 6-7-8-9-10 year olds today. 

How much should Christians respond to these long and drawn out scandals, and the food fights between Fox News and CNN? When smoke bombs are going off in the post office, Christians know for sure that somebody is robbing the bank. What is the other scandal going on? What are the new organizations missing? We take a look at the real scandal of communism and abortion. We summarize the three most evil rulers over the last 70 years and how American apostates trained them for what they did. . . Mao Zedong, Kim Il Sung, and Robert Mugabe.

How are our liberties lost, decade after miserable decade?  Freedoms just sort of slip away, but how does this happen.  With the loss of fatherhood and manhood, comes the loss of everything — family, faith, and freedom.
