The Generations Radio Program

It was the most critical political moment in our generation. National Review calls it an “opportunity lost.” NBC News is thankful that the President went for a “full establishment” candidate.  Perhaps Brett Kavanaugh is the only shot for Senate approval, but even that demonstrates the weakness of the pro-life cause on the national scene.  Republicans just don’t have the principle to pull it off. We also interact with “Born Again” President Jimmy Carter’s Jesus who apparently likes homosexuality and abortion. 

Where would you stay if you happened to be in Las Vegas overnight?  Or if you happened to be in Elizabeth, Colorado over night, would you stay over at the Swanson's home?  We have a great conversation about the blessings of Christian hospitality and the Candle in the Window program that has brought the whole Christian family much closer. . . worldwide!

The top moral cess pools in the world are Ireland, Iceland, Belgium, and now, Colorado.  This state is staging its first homosexual governor.  America is moving towards extremes, as millennials embrace socialism and communism at high rates.  America is developing an ideological rift that may not be repaired. But, what is the major objective the Christ is accomplishing through these various shakings of the world?

Christian adoption agencies are adopting to homosexuals now. And, Joel Houston of the Hillsong fame affirms the Big Bang and Survival of the Fittest Evolution. But, does it really matter? Are we making a mountain out of a molehill? At what point have we denied the epistemological and ethical authority of the King of Kings, and submitted to the false religion of man-worship and humanism?

Where does children’s church, Sunday Schools, and Youth Groups show up in the Book of Acts or 2 Timothy?   We take a look at the Family Integrated Church movement and movements in general on this program. If the church is not about SundaySchool, youth groups, programs, and potlucks. . .what is the essential, indispensable elements of a church ministry?   Discipleship and preaching.  

On this 4th of July, we are wondering if God will show mercy on this nation.  Given that America is at the lowest moral condition in the history of the country, will God show mercy?  The moment of truth approaches.  The single opportunity to reverse Roe v. Wade is here. Do the Republicans have the will to reverse Roe v. Wade?  Or will the Republican senators reveal their true colors? 

The nuclear age has matured.  Forty nations have weapons grade stuff, and there have been 762 known instances of stolen radioactive material. Has modern man experienced a moral maturation?  Is he more stable? Does he have more moral sensibility than the Soviets of the 1950s?  Uh. . . Yeah.  What is the best thing nations can do to prepare for the “inevitability” of nuclear attack? 

Finally, the feminists were successful at discontinuing the Miss America swimsuit competition. Are Christian men and women disappointed in this development? Why are Christians pretty irrelevant to any meaningful cultural developments today? We discuss whether our daughters should model at all, given the discouragement from ex-Victoria Secret model, Nicole Weider.

It is becoming increasingly obvious that the public libraries do not share the Christian worldview. Now, the Drag Queen Story Hour is taking off across America, as men dressed up like women read stories to 4-8 year old kids. Is this grooming children for illicit sexual activities? We discuss the test for good literature for our children, and the increasing irrelevance of public libraries in modern life.

It’s the biggest opportunity for a pro-life America and religious freedoms in this generation, since the election of Ronald Reagan. Kevin Swanson interviews Jenna Ellis, Director of Public Policy for James Dobson Family Institute, for a careful analysis of this opportunity for America. Could this be the beginning of a Roe v.
