The Generations Radio Program

In this edition of the Generations radio program, Kevin Swanson and Steve Vaughan addresses the issue of children growing up in Christian homes and rejecting God. Faith is a long-term mindset, and this is something that all parents should pray for as they cry out to God for the salvation of their children.

What may be the most well-publicized, horrific murders in America as decried by the media has a redemptive element to it.  The liberals hate God’s redemption and God’s law, but for some reason they get very preachy and religious in their deprecations for Charles Manson. Kevin Swanson points out how God redeems some murderers.  Charles Tex Watson outlines the sins he committed to lead him to the Helter Skelter gruesome murders of 1969.  Watson was raised in a Christian family and the first sin that led him to these nightmarish evils. . . disobedience to his parents.

To ignore the spiritual realm, the principalities and powers behind the spirit of the age is to make a grave mistake. Popular music controls the minds of billions of people around the world these days, and Satan has a hand in it. Beyonce is the most wealthy female pop musician in the country, and with her husband, Jay-Z, they make up the most wealthy pop musician family in the business. Christians like to assume they can embrace the popular worldly standards with as much enthusiasm as everybody else. But, we point out the shameless degradation of sexuality found in the popular music scene. Nowadays, it is the musicians that set the standards for immodesty and the lack of chastity in dress and attitude (for Christians and non-Christians alike).

Americans are back on a spending binge. Consumer spending is at its highest level since 2009, and the savings rate is the lowest it has been since 2008. Here’s the kicker. . . Self Storage Unit construction capital outlays have risen from $240 million in 2011 to $3.6 billion in 2017. We’re drowning in stuff. Kevin Swanson provides a little background on where consumerism became the big emphasis in American economics.

Most Christians do not take the spiritual realm seriously, and they are easily taken by the devil's devices.  What should a church do when a medium or witch sets up shop in town?  How do Christians address demonic activity in the home and the church?  This program will help you gear up for spiritual warfare as the Day of Evil approaches.

Adoption numbers are the lowest they've ever been in this generation. Where is the church on this one?  Where are Christian families?  What's wrong with the system?  We take a look at why the love of so many have grown cold, with a warm conversation about loving kids (even those with special needs and those without anybody else in the world to love them.)

Australia has finally capitulated to Caesar Nero’s agenda of sodomite marriage and the persecution of Christians that always attends. Only Taiwan and South Africa from Africa and Asia have joined the Western world, but that is only because they were colonies of the Netherlands. If God destroyed the Roman Empire, Sodom, and Pompeii, when will He destroy the Western world for its replication of the sins of these former places?  The final chapter of the Western world is almost complete.

While Judge Roy Moore is questioned about his sexual behavior 38 years ago, we look into the sin of everybody else in America. A full 95% of Americans say that they have committed fornication (on the day of their marriage). All of America needs to be crying out for God’s mercy on them for their breaking the 7th commandment. We look at the accusations against George H.W. Bush, Al Franken, Judge Roy Moore, Kevin Spacey, and Sylvester Stallone in light of God’s laws. Deuteronomy 22 requires that a woman cry out against unwanted advancements. But, what if she waits 25 years to cry out? Also, we address the question of early marriage for teen girls.

Rob Bell asks the question, “Is Gandhi in hell?”   But, we are asking the question, will Rob Bell go to hell?  And, will people who believe the Shack theology go to hell?  The weakening of theology forms an exit ramp from the highway of orthodoxy.  But how seriously is this? Do we take the Bible Literally? And, what does that mean?

Why do Christians and “Christian” countries oppose spanking. . .and the death penalty?  How are these things related?   Kevin Swanson takes a history ride back into the breakdown of the Christian faith and Christian theology in the 19th Century.  Christian do-gooders assumed the wrong anthropology.  Softening towards sin turns out to be a hardening of heart towards God.
