Euthanasia is gaining steam around the Western world. Every birth-imploding, abortion-saturated nation is moving in this direction, with both American and the post-Christian European nations opening the door to it one after another. Unless there’s a shift in the churches, there will be no avoiding the holocaust of mass euthanasia that is coming. So what is the worldview behind euthanasia? How should we view suffering and the purpose of suffering? Are we really in a position to determine what the long-term effects of a particular action will be and to declare that those effects will bring about ultimate good? Kevin Swanson and Bill Jack discuss the topic of euthanasia on this edition of the program.

An Oklahoma Catholic school was refused government funding due to its ideology and worldview taught in the curriculum. The US Supreme Court concurred, finally acknowledging that only a secular humanist curriculum may be supported by tax dollars. The state would have to impose limits on curriculum choices. Two points. Education is not neutral. And education must reside under parental funding and control.

The New Testament has little to say about external symbols and rituals. Men are to pray with the lifting up of holy hands. But what is this 1 Corinthians 11 bit on head coverings for women? We discuss the history of it, the 0.06 percent of protestants that still require it, and the biblical data on the subject. Is it really a cultural issue if the angels are concerned with it, and if the creation ordinance is reintroduced? What if women never pray or prophesy at the church? Is the woman’s hair a sufficient covering? And, why did the practice disappear when the feminists showed up in 1960?

Our governments have provided free hired killings for parents who want to murder their own children, and they are calculating how much money they could save if they knocked off a few thousand elderly by euthanasia. But we insist that this is not true charity. This is the weird, twisted charity of the Democrats. A few Republicans are coming to realize that whatever our society doing with the redistribution of the wealth is unsustainable. The only solution is to cut Medicaid and Medicare, but that ain’t happening until the nation has a worldview shift.

Japan exemplifies Proverbs 14:34 unlike any other nation, turning into a reproach and an embarrassment in the world scene. Japan’s birth implosion and economic debacle is the worst in the world. But here’s the history of it, beginning with a visit by the most evil woman in the world in 1922. The nation invited this American Jezebel back to address their parliament in 1954. They went on to kill 70 percent of their children throughout the 1950s, setting themselves up for a gross humiliation in later centuries.
