From the beginning of time, God has been involved in the generous undertaking of giving. God gives life, grace, forgiveness, deliverance, hope because that is how God is. We too are endowed with the divine image of God, which means our lives are to be generous undertakings. For God so loved the world that he gave. We are called to the same generosity.
