This past weekend saw the release of Ralph Breaks the Internet, Creed II, and Robin Hood. But how did it fare?

Ralph Breaks the Internet exceeded expectations, taking in $84.5 million in its five-day weekend, and $55.7 million in its three-day weekend. This is just a couple million higher than its predecessor did in the same weekend. As such, it's tracking to do better by a small margin, but given the increased emphasis on the international box office in the years since that first film, it seems highly likely it'll make a hell of a lot more on a worldwide scale. Plus, with its A- CinemaScore, it's clear audiences were pretty happy with what they had to see, and with few big films coming out over the next week or two, it'll likely hold strong.

At no. 2, we have Creed II with $55.8 million five-day opening and a $35.3 million three-day opening, it outmatches its predecessor's $29.6 three-day opening. While it wasn't as well-received as the first film (though at 82% on Rotten Tomatoes, it's no slouch), its A CinemaScore proves that it delivers the good audiences were hoping for.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald dropped a respectable 52.3% from its first weekend to take in $29.7 million. While this isn't much considering the brand recognition behind this, it has managed to take in $439 million worldwide. Will it be enough to give Warner Bros. the confidence to stay the course? We'll see.

Also, in WTF news, Venom has broken $820 million, proving once and for all that there is no God and that we're all going to die alone.

In first place is Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, with $62.2 million. While this is enough to put it far ahead of the competition, it is the lowest opening any Wizarding World film to date by a substantial margin, including Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which opened at $74.4 million. Given the relatively low rating of 40% on Rotten Tomatoes, and the non-glowing B+ on CinemaScore, I'm not sure this will face a long tail at the box office. Plus with the likes of Creed 2 and Ralph Breaks the Internet coming out, competition is pretty stiff.

In second place is The Grinch with $38.2 million, only dropping 43.5% from its already-strong opening weekend. So far, the film has taken in $151.7 million worldwide off its $75 million budget, meaning the film is likely close to breaking even, if not already profitable. With the holiday season underway, I think the weeks to come could also bring increased interest in this film.

In third place, Bohemian Rhapsody continues to rock it with $15.7 million in its third weekend, bringing its worldwide cume to $384.3 million off its $52 million box office.

Released in 2015, directed by Antoine Bardou-Jacquet, and starring Hellboy’s Ron Pearlman. This trippy film serves up paranoia in the form of a faked moon landing that may or may not be directed by the real Stanley Kubrick, and best of all it cost one whole dollar.

This week, The Cantina columnist Kyle Malone talks about the Final Fantasy game series and which entries are his favorite.

Final Fantasy is a series that spans the gamut of video game genres, multimedia entertainment, and has been around for over 30 years! Starting with Final Fantasy in 1987 on the Nintendo Entertainment System the games have become a beloved series that have created some of the most passionate fans on the planet. Their series has a focus on the Japanese Role Playing Game genre but also has action adventure games, Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games, and even fighting games. The characters have even been used in other franchises such as Kingdom Hearts and Super Smash Bros.
