Grief isn't always about losing someone to death. Sometimes we grieve friendships that have ended, relationships that have changed, expectations that were never fulfilled, and even previous versions of ourselves that we can no longer return to.
In this episode of Gentle Hours, we're having a thoughtful conversation about the different ways grief can show up in our lives, especially when we're trying to accept changes that we understand intellectually but are still struggling to process emotionally.
We'll explore why we miss people we know we needed to separate from, how to navigate the disappointment of unmet expectations, and what it means to grieve who we once were while learning to appreciate who we're becoming.
Through gentle breathing exercises, reflection, and conversation, I hope this episode helps you better understand what you're feeling and encourages you to give yourself patience as you navigate these experiences.
You can accept that something has ended and still acknowledge how much it meant to you. Both deserve room to exist.
Thank you for spending these Gentle Hours with me, my baby. I hope this conversation meets you wherever you are in your process.

In this episode of Gentle Hours, we’re talking about discernment, privacy, and learning to sit with what you know before you feel the need to share it. Every realization doesn’t require an immediate conversation, and sometimes protecting what you’re processing gives you the clarity to understand it without the influence of other people’s fears, projections, or expectations.
This Gentle Hours reminds you to slow down, pay attention, and be more intentional about what, when, and with whom you share.
Take a breath, settle in, and spend these next few minutes with me.

Sometimes we grow into adulthood, take on responsibilities, build lives, care for other people and keep moving forward, while a younger version of us is still responding to situations from a place of fear, abandonment, rejection, or the need to feel safe.
In this episode of Gentle Hours, we are giving that inner child permission to finally rest.
This is a gentle conversation about recognizing the places where old experiences may still be influencing present decisions, understanding that you have choices now that you may not have had then, and allowing the adult version of you to finally stand up and say, “I’ll take it from here.”
We begin with a few moments of breathing before settling into a reflection on boundaries, relationships, fear, familiar patterns, and what it means to stop asking the younger version of yourself to keep protecting the person you have grown into.
You can love who you were, honor how she survived, and still let her know that she no longer has to stand guard.
She can rest now.
You’re here.
Welcome to Gentle Hours. 🤎
