On this episode, I am joined by JD Gershbein, who is known as the LinkedIn Style Guide, to some he is known as the OG of LinkedIn.  JD has been at the forefront of the LinkedIn revolution since its inception in 2006. One of the world’s first independent LinkedIn consultants and a pioneer in LinkedIn education, JD serves ambitious professionals striving to make their mark in the Digital Age.   As a speaker, facilitator, writer, and media producer, he draws upon his diverse academic background—a fusion of psychology, neuroscience, and the humanities—and the improvisation skills he honed at Chicago’s famed Second City to bridge the knowledge gap that exists between businesspeople and the online world.

On this episode, my first full episode since my extended summer break, I am delighted and humbled to have as my guest, Ben Finley, co-founder of the National Brotherhood of Snowsports (NBS).  The NBS was founded in 1973 and Vail, Colorado was the site of the 50th anniversary of the ski summit in February of this year.

Ben, born in Harlem, New York, is a graduate of Notre Dame University and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.  He and I discuss his fond memories of the 1st summit in 1973, the formation of the NBS, his outlook on life and what his kryptonite is.  I also learn a new term for groomed slopes.

On today's episode I am joined by Jermaine Jenkins. Jermaine is a former Marine who now works as a Project Manager for the Department of State and is a full-time fitness competitor. We discuss what influenced him to become a body builder after serving in the Marine Corps for 22 years, his body building achievements while going up against younger competitors, overcoming injuries, having his own fitness product and apparel line and the personal sacrifices it takes competing as a IFBB professional athlete while balancing his 9 to 5 and having a family.
