Do people generalize a person base on where they came from?
.
I personally think yes. I felt offended because someone mentioned me in a discussion where I was being generalize, but I thought it was really interesting.
.
They asked if I was FOB like Asian or if I was ghetto (she thought it was good if I was from the ghetto)? Does that really matter? Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t choose to live in the Tenderloin. It was more of, my parents didn’t have a choice. Although it could’ve been worse, due to the fact that I had a better household then an average ghetto household (given we had food on the table (shoutout EBT) and never starved) and both our parents were always around.
