It was the nightmare game Kentucky fans had dreaded, but in the end it all worked out. Cats struggle with a bad Ole Miss team last night, finally pulling away 89 to 86 in overtime. This is a UK team that had been averaging their wins by 28 points.
Kentucky opens up a 12 nothing lead, but allowed Ole Miss to go on a 31 to 12 run and Kentucky trails at the half 38 to 36.
At the end of regulation the game was tied 77 – 77 and Cats go on to win in OT.

Big games for Ole Miss for Jarvis Summers with 23 points, and Stefan Moody with 25.

For the Cats, Aaron Harrison with 26 points including 5 of 9 from the 3 point line, Devin Booker with 13 and Andrew Harrison with 12. Willie Cauley Stein had 12 rebounds.
John Calipari also announced that Alex Poythress ACL surgery went well.

And last night in hockey, Predators score 3 in the third and beat Carolina 3-2. Preds now 26-9 and 4.
