‘Vince Marrow is staying! Vince Marrow is staying!’
Breaking news last night that not that long ago would have been impossible to believe. Vince Marrow, tight ends coach for UK football is turning down Jim Harbaugh and the University of Michigan and staying with Mark Stoops at the University of Kentucky.
He’ll get a major raise and we’ll have the complete details tomorrow!
Do you realize we’ve gone TEN DAYS WITHOUT basketball?
Of COURSE you do, and like every other Wildcat fan, you’re ready for some more. Things get back to normal tomorrow evening, as UK starts league play with Ole Miss coming to Rupp Arena. UK has spent the last ten days in ‘Camp Cal’, John Calipari’s yearly session over the holidays where they work on new plays, new defenses and generally just work their tails off.
About halfway through the camp, Cal announced he’d made a change with the guard play, much like the famous “tweak” of last year.
So now it’s time for Cal to explain exactly WHAT he did with the guards during Camp Cal.

OK, so maybe not. Umm… first one to recognize it gets a cookie.
A lot of what happens during Camp Cal is individual player development. Cal said THIS year he approached this totally different from the past, but he says the entire team will benefit from individual development.
